Stephen Rumph
Stephen Rumph is Professor and Chair of Music History at the University of Washington. His publications include Mozart and Enlightenment Semiotics (University of California Press, 2011), The Fauré Song Cycles: Poetry and Music, 1861–1921 (University of California Press, 2020), and Fauré Studies (Cambridge University Press, 2021), co-edited with Carlo Caballero. He is currently editing The Cambridge Companion to French Art Song. He also sings professionally as a lyric tenor, appearing regularly in opera and concert.
