Alejandra Perez

Dr Alejandra Perez is an adult psychoanalyst in private practice, a member of the British Psychoanalytical Society and Senior Parent-Infant Psychotherapist at Anna Freud and in private practice. She is part of the Executive Committee of the Psychoanalytic Parent-Infant Psychotherapy training at the British Psychotherapy Foundation. She is also Programme Director of the MSc Early Child Development and Clinical Applications at University College London/Anna Freud and Module Lead of Early Child Development and Parent Infant Observation modules. She gives talks in the UK and internationally on clinical work with parents and infants, psychoanalysis, psychic development and parenthood. She is currently head of the research lab LEAP (Lab of Experiences and Adjustments in Parenthood), which explores the parent-child relationship and parents' subjective experiences in the early years.
