Taylor & Francis and the Canadian Research Knowledge Network Consortium Open Access Agreement

A Canadian open access agreement offers researchers the option to publish open access in Taylor & Francis and Routledge Open Select (hybrid) journals with a discount on article publishing charge (APC).

This open access agreement offers Canadian researchers access to subscription articles, as well as corresponding authors at participating CRKN Consortium institutions the option to publish in over 2,000 journal titles.

Visit our Open Select Journals page and filter by subject on the left side of the page to find the right journal title for you.

What are the requirements to publish with this open access agreement?

To be eligible, articles must:

  • Be original research articles. Other types of paper, such as Editorials, Announcements, and Book Reviews, are not covered by this agreement.
  • Be accepted for publication after the 1st January 2022.
  • Have a corresponding author affiliated with a participating institution (see below).

All accepted research meeting the requirements will automatically be considered for open access publication under this agreement. If the discount for your article is approved by your institution, you will receive an email asking you to select the Creative Commons license of your choice – find out about Creative Commons licenses.
