Aims and scope

Epigenetics Reports is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal that publishes research on all aspects of Epigenetics, including but not limited to mechanisms of epigenetic regulation, functions of epigenetics in biology and disease, transgenerational Epigenetics and Therapeutic Epigenetics.

The aim of Epigenetics Reports is the rapid communication of high-quality, novel research among the community. Our aim is to provide a platform for epigenetic scientists to exchange ideas and knowledge through short communications in particular.

Epigenetics Reports covers the following topics: Epigenetic mechanism, Epigenetic function, transgenerational Epigenetics, and Therapeutic Epigenetics.

We are interested in original research papers reporting advances in epigenetic mechanisms and its regulation of biological and disease processes, review articles summarizing recent progress in the epigenetic field, brief reports/rapid communications revealing breakthrough studies in epigenetics, and technical papers on the methodology of the epigenetic study.

The journal accepts the following article types:

Original research
Reviews
Brief Reports/Rapid Communications
Technical papers (methods, protocol and resource)
