Aims and scope

OncoImmunology is a dynamic, high-profile, open access journal broadly covering tumor immunology and immunotherapy.

As cancer immunotherapy continues to evolve,  OncoImmunology aims to publish high-quality, rigorous research on all aspects of basic and applied tumor immunology.

Topics covered include:

  • Basic and translational studies in immunology of both solid and hematological malignancies
  • Inflammation, innate and acquired immune responses against cancer
  • Mechanisms of cancer immunoediting and immune evasion
  • Modern immunotherapies including, but not limited to, immunomodulators, immune checkpoint inhibitors, T-cell, NK-cell and macrophage engagers, and CAR T cells
  • Immunological effects of conventional anticancer therapies.

The journal publishes original research articles, brief reports, reviews, trial watches, commentaries, and meeting reports. Please note that trial watches are solicted by the Editors on an invitation-only basis.

OncoImmunology operates a single-anonymized peer review policy. All articles will be made freely and permanently available online through gold open access publication.
