Abstract

Based on an ethnopharmacological survey of the Gorakhpur district, this report deals with 107 plant species belonging to 100 genera and 53 families that are commonly used by different ethnic groups as folk drugs for treatment of various human and cattle diseases and conditions. It lists 166 medicinal uses.
