Amy Bleier

Amy Bleier is a Principal Investigator of archaeology at Metcalf Archaeological Consultants, Inc. She worked for the State Historical Society of North Dakota/State Historic Preservation Office for 16 years. Her interests include cartography, public education and outreach, and documentation of cultural resources in the Northern Plains. Bleier holds a M.A. (Anthropology, 2004) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a B.A. (Anthropology, 1998) from the University of North Dakota-Grand Forks.

Paul Picha

Paul Picha was State Archaeologist at the State Historical Society of North Dakota (SHSND). He had been an archaeologist with the SHSND since 1994. His research for the last four decades has focused on prehistoric and historical archaeology of the Northern Great Plains and with the history of early exploration and historical cartography. Picha has a M.A. (Anthropology, 1996) from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a B.A. (Anthropology, 1980) from Hamline University, St. Paul, Minnesota.
