Fluoroimmunoassay of pregnancy zone protein

Abstract

A specific and sensitive fluoroimmunoassay for determination of pregnancy zone protein in serum is described. One hundred and seventy-three apparently healthy subjects were investigated. The median concentration of pregnancy zone protein for apparently healthy males is 7 mg/l and for females 43 mg/l. The fluoroimmunoassay is compared with the electroimmunoassay.
