Abstract

Hydrozirconation of acetylenic stannanes 1 affords gem-stannazirconocene alkenes 2. Intermediates 2 are treated with acyl halides to obtain (Z)-α-organostannyl-α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds 3 via Zr-Cu transmetallation.
