Microwave Promoted Rapid Oxidative Deoximation of Oximes under Solvent-Free Conditions

Abstract

Aldeydes and ketones are easily obtained in high yields by microwave promoted rapid oxidative deoximation of the corresponding oximes with zinc nitrate hexahydrate adsorbed on silica gel under solvent free conditions.
