Abstract

A series of diaryl 1,2-phenylene dioxydiacetates and N-aryl-5-(2-chlorophenyl)-2-furamides are synthesized in good to excellent yields under the conditions of liquid-liquid phase transfer catalysis using polyethylene glycol-400 as the catalyst.
