Abstract
The phenylseleno radical–catalyzed addition of dimethyl 2‐ethynylcyclopropane‐1,1‐dicarboxylate to electron–rich olefins has been achieved. This radical process leads to formation of highly substituted ethynylcyclopentane products through a [3+2] annulation.
