Facile and Efficient Synthesis of 3,10-Disubstituted-bis-1,2,4-triazolo[4,3-a][3′,4′-c]quinoxalines Using Copper Dichloride as an Oxidant

Abstract

Various 3,10-disubstituted-bis-1,2,4-triazolo[4,3-a][3′,4′-c]quinoxalines (4) have been synthesized in a facile and efficient manner by copper dichloride mediated oxidative intramolecular cyclization of bis-arylidene derivatives of 2,3-dihydrazinoquinoxaline (3).
