Abstract

A number of derivatives of isoxazolo-[2,3-c] quinazoline ring system have been prepared by reaction of 2-aryl-4-methylthioquinazoline-3-oxides with activated acetonitriles or 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds in basic medium.
