Abstract

The synthesis of N,N,N-triethyl-2-[4-(2-phenylethenyl) phenoxy] ethanammonium iodide, antispasmodic disubstituted olefin, was achieved via palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling of phenylacetylide with aryl bromide followed by hydroalumination.
