Abstract

The synthesis of N6-(bis(ethylamino)methylene]-N2-[(1,1-dimethyl ethoxycarbonyl] lysine (Boc-diethylhomoarginine) by regiospecific amidination of lysine with (ethylamino) (ethylimino)-methanesulfonic acid (2) is described.
