Spiro-[4H-pyrroIo[1,2-a][1,4]benzodiazepine-4,4′-piperidine] Derivatives as Potential Nootropic Agents: A Simple One-Pot Synthesis

Abstract

Some derivatives of a new heterocyclic ring, spiro-[4H-pyrrolo[1,2a][1,4]benzodiazepine-4,4′-piperidine], have been obtained in very good yields by a simple one-pot reaction using 1-(2-aminomethylphenyl)-1H-pyrrole and 1-substituted 4-oxopiperidines as the synthones.
