Abstract

Chloroketene aminals ClCH[dbnd]C(NR2)2 are converted smoothly and with high yields into yne diamines R2N-C[tbnd]C-NR2 (R [dbnd] CH3 or C2H5) by treatment with a slight excess of potassium amide in liquid ammonia.
