Abstract
The vinylcyclopropane (VCP) 2 was prepared by electrochemical reductive cyclization of β-dicarbonyl enol phosphate 1. The rearrangement of VCP 2 was investigated using a number of conditions including the use of a rhodium(I) complex, pyrolysis, treatment with cation radical source, and protic acid catalysis.
