Abstract

The one-pot synthesis of 2-cyano-4-N,N-dimethylaminobut-2-en-1-ols is easily obtained by using allylic lithioanion prepared from 4-N,N-dimethylaminobut-2-ene nitrile and carbonyl derivatives.
