Abstract

A 7H-benzimidazolo-[1,2-d] [1,4]-benzodiazepin-6(5H)-one was isolated in high yield from a condensation reaction of 2-(o-aminophenyl)benzimidazole with bromoacetyl bromide. The reactivity of 7H-benzimidazolo-[1,2-d] [1,4]-benzodiazepin-6(5H)-one have been studied.
