Free Radical Reactions of Sodium Sulfinate with Olefins

Abstract

A sulfonyl radical induced selenosulfonation and thiosulfonation with olefins by using sodium arylsulfinate as sulfonyl radical precursor is described. Phenyldiselenide and phenyldisulfide are used as free radical acceptors.
