Abstract

Reactions of amines (morpholine, pyrrolidine and piperidine) with 4-bromo-2-methyl-5-nitro-1-phenacylimidazoles yielded unexpectedly 5-amino-2-methyl-4-nitro-1-phenacylimidazoles.
