A Convenient Synthesis Of N,N'-Bifunctional Ferrocene Macrocyclic Dioxotetraamines

Abstract

Five novel N,N'- bifunctional Ferrocene macrocyclic dioxotetraamines (IVa∼e) were synthesised. The key step for this synthesis is the preparation of mono N-functionalized macrocyclic dioxotetraamine (II). The yield of the compound II reached 45%. It provides a simple way for synthesis of N,N'- bifunctional macrocyclic tetraamines.
