A Mild and Selective Solid Phase Oxidation of Polythioether to Octopus Polysulfoxide Using UHP Under Supersonic Wave

Abstract

UHP, a mild and selective oxidizing reagent, has been used to synthesis of octopus polysulfoxide in solid phase reaction under supersonic wave irradiation at room temperature with a high yield. Novel octopus polysulfoxide 2 has been synthesized by selective oxidation of octopus thioehter 1 in ≥95% yield using this method.
