Abstract
Attempts to increase the reliability of historical statistics are welcomed. “Swedish national product 1861–1970” [7] by Olie Krantz and Carl-Axel Nilsson (KN) represents an important step in this direction. On some points, however, the statistical picture given by KN on the economic development in the 20's differs fundamentally from the traditional one.
