Abstract

Computer-assisted instruction (CAI) offers a valuable adjunct to the difficulties encountered in teaching medical students in a community-based course in rural Australia. The paper outlines the educational planning processes behind the project and provides an outline of the modular solution to the task. Preliminary results show that this approach is feasible and acceptable to guide students' learning.
