Bell Yung 荣鸿曾 is emeritus professor of music at the University of Pittsburgh and affiliate professor of music at the University of Washington. He received a Ph.D. in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Ph.D. in Music from Harvard University, and an honorary doctorate from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has published, in either English or Chinese, ten books, over one hundred articles and reviews, two museum catalogues, a DVD, and eight CDs.
