Free-lying ectopic meningioma within the orbit

Abstract

Abstract Intraorbital ectopic meningiomas, which in most cases occur along the orbital wall, are rare. The authors report a 27-year-old woman who suffered from an intraorbital meningioma lying apart from the optic nerve and having no connection with the periorbita or any small nerves.
