Intradiploic meningocoele in a 16-year-old girl

Pages 359-361 | Published online: 06 Jul 2009

Abstract

Abstract Osteolytic lesions of the skull have many causes, but magnetic resonance imaging may immediately distinguish cerebrospinal fluid intradiploic lakes from other causes. A case of a 16-year-old girl with such a lesion in relation to the sagittal sinus is presented and its aetiology is discussed.
