Summary
HeLa cells were irradiated at various points in a collimated beam of 14 MeV neutrons from a D-T generator. The biological parameters RBE, OER and recovery from sub-lethal damage were measured. RBE values vary slightly between the surface and 10 cm depth in water and also at the penumbra. OER values remained constant. No recovery from sub-lethal damage was found.
