María Julia Giménez is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro with the support of the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (FAPERJ). She holds a PhD in political science from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas.
