Moh. Ferdi Hasan

Moh. Ferdi Hasan, Muhammad Ash-shiddiqy, Mohammad Rofiqi are doctoral students at the State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Their research focuses on various aspects of culture and organization within Islamic institutions. Hasan’s doctoral research analyzes leadership concepts and models in Islamic boarding schools. His work draws on extensive fieldwork and interviews with key figures across diverse pesantren communities.

Muhammad Ash-Shiddiqy

Muhammad Ash-shiddiqy’s thesis examines the cultural traditions and learning practices in traditional Islamic boarding schools. He takes an ethnographic approach to understanding how knowledge and culture are transmitted across generations.

Mohammad Rofiqi

Mohammad Rofiqi’s research explores organizational culture within modern Islamic higher education institutions. He is investigating how Islamic values and teachings inform management styles, governance structures, and educational philosophies. His study includes comparative analysis of multiple Islamic universities across Indonesia. Collectively, their research provides important insights into culture and organization within contemporary Indonesian Islamic institutions ranging from traditional to modern contexts. Their backgrounds at State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta inform their scholarly perspectives at the intersection of Islamic studies, anthropology, and sociology.
