1. Frameworks exists but those that situate Blacks in an urban setting ignore the political economy and view the city through ecological lenses that conceptualize neighborhoods as “natural” sites. For example, the popular systemic structural racism framework conceptualizes racist as disconnected from capitalism (Powell, Citation2008).
