Geoff Monaghan
Geoff Monaghan is a Detective Sergeant in the Metropolitan Police Service, New Scotland Yard, London. He specializes in U.K. drug policy and drug enforcement strategies, is a member of the JUSTICE Committee of Experts on Drugs and the Law 1991 (JUSTICE is the British Section of the International Commission of Jurists), is a Staff Officer to the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) Drug Sub-Committee, is a member of the editorial board of Substance Use and Misuse, has been a faculty member of the Middle Eastern Summer Institute on Drug Use both in Israel and in Italy, and is currently working with the police in Russia developing harm-reduction programs.
