FeS-NH4CL-CH3OH-H2O: AN EFFICIENT AND INEXPENSIVE SYSTEM FOR REDUCTION OF NITROARENES TO ANILINES*

Abstract

Nitroarenes are reduced to corresponding anilines with FeS-NH4Cl-CH3OH-H2O system in good yields.
