Abstract

Five glucuronides of 1-arylsulfonyl-5-fluorouracil were synthesized by the reaction of 1-arylsulfonyl-5-fluorouracil 2 with methyl 2,3,4-tri-O-acetyl-1-bromo-1-deoxy-α-D-glucuronate 1 under phase transfer catalysis. Their structures were confirmed by IR, ¹H NMR and elementary analysis.
