Abstract
Several new γ-N-arylideneaminopropyl-2-methyl-6-phenyl-1,3-dioxa-6-aza-2-silacyclooctanes have been prepared by the reaction of γ-aminopropyldimethoxymethylsilane with phenyldiethanolamine first and then with arylaldehydes. The products were identified by elemental analyses, IR and 1H NMR.
