Abstract

Mosaic floors have been excavated throughout the countries which were part of the Roman Empire. While Romano-British mosaics are the primary topic, references to closely related subjects are included. The sources in this bibliography are chosen to give the reader an understanding of Romano-British mosaics, including the artistic, social and political influences and purposes for their creation. This bibliography presents print and electronic sources for readers ranging in interest levels including the casual tourist to the serious researcher.
