Abstract
The results of intravenous pyelography (IVP) and radioisotope renography (RNG) were compared pre- and postoperatively in 77 patients with carcinoma of the cervix. A comparison was made of the occurrence of obstructive uropathy. A total of 161 comparisons between the two tests were done. The results revealed that the IVP never was abnormal without the RNG also being so. The data suggest that radioisotope renography to a large extent can replace intravenous pyelography in the evaluation of gynecological patients after operation.
