Abstract

Breast carcinoma tends to follow a protracted course. By the time the patient succumbs to her disease, it is often widely metastatic (2). It is well recognized that the ovary is a frequent site of metastasis (3), but this tumor is also said to occur with some frequency in the uterus, retroperitoneal lymph nodes, peritoneum, and inguinal nodes (1). Vaginal occurrence of breast carcinoma is, on the other hand, extremely rare, with only one case described in detail in the literature (4). We describe here 3 other such cases and discuss the significance of our findings.
