Abstract
Serum levels of relaxin rapidly decreased in patients with hydatidiform mole who underwent hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy. However, the disappearance pattern of relaxin in patients with hydatidiform mole who underwent hysterectomy only was delayed and similar to that after evacuation of mole. The findings constitute evidence of the luteal source of circulating relaxin in molar pregnancy.
