Abstract
Tutocain is in practical use, contrary to Cocaic, non-poisonous.
Tutocain can be used both for surface and injection anaesthesia. It is thus possible to avoid the confilsion of very poisonous and less poisonous anaestheties and to prevent deaths and other untoward accidents.
Tutocain can be sterilized by heat without risk of decomposition.
The anaesthetizing value of Tutocain is higher than that of all the other local anaestheties.
Tutocain is therefore both as surface and injection anaesthetic cheaper than its best rivals, especially than Cocain, which, however, always will remain the honourable veteran of the local anaesthetics.
