Pages 298-301 | Published online: 08 Jul 2009

In most cases of otitis media it can be desided on the basis of the otoscopical picture whether cholesteatoma is present or not. In certain doubtful cases roentgen can be of assistance, but a number of cases remain where our present methods of examination fail us. A presentation of the symptom complex described below may possibly be of some assistance.
