Abstract
In spite of the great number of methods employed, the cure of ozena is not always satisfactory. The majority of these methods lead to a narrowing of the nasal cavity. Thus Eckert-Möbius inserts a piece of ox-bone under the mucous membrane of the nasal septum. Lautenschäger, Hinsberg, Halle narrow the nasal cavity at the expense of the osseous lateral flank of the nose.
