Some immunological studies in connection with tonsillectomy

Summary.

Agglutinins against rabbit red blood-corpuscles were titrated in sera from patients subjected to tonsillectomy. The rate of the titres did not give any prognostic indication of the postoperative conditions. Neither could any significative change in the titre be noted after the operation. Similar investigations on antistreptolysins gave the same results.
