Abstract
The immuno-electrophoresis of the pigeon perilymph pointed out various protein fractions different, in quality and quantity, from that of the blood serum.
The authors observed a larger amount of protein fractions with lower molecular weight, while those with higher ones were scarcer. The administration of adrenalin or histamine causes a clear alteration of the proteins contained in the labyrinthine fluids. The two substances could therefore cause the passage from the vessels towards the perilymph of those proteins having a higher molecular weight.
