Abstract
By means of magnitude estimation the intensity function of electric taste was measured. Electrically-induced taste sensation grows as the 1.2 power of current intensity, when d.c. stimuli are used and the kind of electrodes specified. A new electric gust unit is proposed, being equivalent in strength to one gust of saline solution.
