Pages 252-253 | Published online: 08 Jul 2009

Abstract

Significant decreased fibrinolytic activity was found in 17 patients with Meniere's disease in activity. This result supports a previously proposed hypothesis that decreased fibrinolytic activity is of importance in the pathogenesis of Meniere's disease. It is concluded that if the hypothesis is correct, it can lead to a causal therapy in some cases of Meniere's disease.
