Abstract

A 24-yr-old woman was seen by a surgeon because of right upper abdominal pain suggestive of gallbladder disease but a cholecystogram was normal. A plain abdominal X-ray showed a right subchrondral mass which was palpable. She had taken an oral contraceptive for 3 yr. At laparotomy a protuberant mass was excised from the right lobe of liver.
